Tony James Electrical Service has been wiring, fixing and upgrading homes and businesses across South Louisiana since 1995. More than 50,000 finished projects and 15,000 customers later, the approach hasn't changed: do it right, do it to code, and treat every job like it's for a neighbor.
MEET THE OWNER
Anthony "Tony" James
Owner, Tony James Electrical Service, LLC
Tony grew up in downtown Houma and went to Terrebonne High School. He has spent 40 years in the electrical trade, more than 30 of them running his own company. He built Tony James Electrical Service from the ground up with blood, sweat and tears, and to him the business is his baby, right alongside his family.
Over the years Tony has trained a long list of young tradesmen who started on his crew and learned the job the right way: safe, to code and done with pride. Ask around Houma and you will hear the same thing about Tony: he does what he says, he stands behind his work, and he treats every customer like family.
Off the job, Tony is a family man first. He loves spending time with his wife, children and grandchild, and he never passes up a chance to take out his classic 1964½ Ford Mustang, a car he got from his favorite uncle. He is a big supporter of South Louisiana, backing local small businesses and the charities that matter to this community.
